Metal Inside(r) Home Quarantine is Metal Insider’s new column during this time of isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We asked artists five questions on what’s been keeping them busy ranging from their favorite movies, food they’ve been eating, music they’ve been listening to and more. We caught up with Witherfall’s Jake Dreyer and Joseph Michael as they’ve been spending this time in the studio working on “the craziest Witherfall album to date.”
What have you been doing to pass time during Quarantine?
Jake Dreyer: Tons of practicing, so nothing has really changed. Oh, and how could I forget… Witherfall also managed to Quarantine inside of a studio in Woodland Hills to record drum tracks for our next record. More on that later. I’ve eased on the Starbucks runs. Although, I’m still consuming copious amounts of red wine.
Joseph Michael: Yeah, we have the drums done for what will be the craziest Witherfall album to date. Also, a surprise cover song that will end up being a bonus track somewhere. Speaking of red wine…Witherfall have partnered with Southern California Winery “Charlie & Echo” to release the “Tempest Red Blend!” There are only about 100 bottles left of the 2019 Vintage so they may be gone by the time this is published. When this sells out, though, we will be taking pre-orders for the 2020 Vintage blend. Free shipping is available on orders of $150.
